From theory to real-world service robotics.
The 1st International Summer School on Autonomous Service Robotics @ PoliTO is a one-week intensive program dedicated to advanced methods, technologies, and applications in autonomous service robotics. Organized by the PIC4SeR (Interdepartmental Centre on Service Robotics at Politecnico di Torino) and RAS Italy, this summer school offers an international and highly interdisciplinary learning environment, for MSc students and first-year PhD students.
Application Process
Applications for the summer school are open from April 20th to June 20th, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the official application form available here. After the application deadline, selected candidates will be guided through the official Politecnico di Torino application procedure.

The School Approach
The core philosophy of the summer school is its hands-on, practice-oriented teaching approach. Alongside lectures and seminars, students will engage in experimental laboratory activities aimed at developing complete autonomous robot solutions. At the end of the school the students will test their solutions in a robotics challenge among all the teams.
